At Empowered, we wholeheartedly embrace the transformative force of women empowering women, extending our commitment to shaping the destinies of the women of tomorrow – our cherished Lil' Sistas. Though these girls are young today, they are the future's formidable, independent, and empowered women. Our dedication lies in offering them not just hope, but encouragement, guidance, and positive role models that propel them towards their full potential, fostering a profound embrace of their strength. The Lil' Sistas Project, launched in 2018 by Coach Amy, began with a spark from her visit to the Holy Family Home Foundation in Makati. Its growth accelerated when she learned about the Center of Hope, a recovery safe house for human trafficking survivors, created by Voice of the Free. Since then, we've mentored over 300 underprivileged girls, nurturing them into fierce and resilient women.

Amidst the pandemic, we recommenced our in-person Lil' Pow Boxing sessions at Holy Family Home, injecting laughter, growth, and bonding into our monthly 3-4 hour sessions with the Lil' Sistas. While we no longer coach girls at the Center of Hope, our focus has shifted to our local community, where Empowered Clubhouse has relocated. Hence, we've expanded the Lil' Sistas Project to include girls from Elsie Gaches Village, a community dedicated to youths with special needs, located in Alabang Hills. Our latest endeavor, Sista Strong Training, involves coaching these girls twice a month in sports and fitness.
